Ed Cummings (Edward A. Cummings) was born on June 29, 1941 in Anaconda, Montana. Cummings attended Stanford University. Cummings made his professional debut in the AFL in 1964 with the New York Jets. He played for the Denver Broncos and New York Jets over the course of his 2 year career.

Most people believe that 1964 was Ed Cummings's best year.
