Ed Cody (Edward J. Cody) was born on February 27, 1923 in Newington, Connecticut. Cody attended Boston College and Purdue University. Cody made his professional debut in the NFL in 1947 with the Green Bay Packers. He played for the Chicago Bears and Green Bay Packers over the course of his 4 year career.
