Ed Carman (Edmund Ralph Carman) was born on January 21, 1894 in Joliet, Illinois. Carman attended Purdue University. Carman made his professional debut in the NFL in 1922 with the Hammond Pros. He played for the Hammond Pros for his entire 2 year career.
