Ed Burns (Ed Burns) was born on December 7, 1954 in Council Bluffs, Iowa. After going to high school at Archbishop Rummel (Omaha, NE), Burns attended the University of Nebraska. Burns made his professional debut in the NFL in 1979 with the New Orleans Saints. He played for the New Orleans Saints for his entire 2 year career.
