Ed Budde (Edward Leon Budde) was born on November 2, 1940 in Highland Park, Michigan. After going to high school at Denby (Detroit, MI), Budde attended Michigan State University. Budde made his professional debut in the AFL in 1963 with the Kansas City Chiefs. He played in the AFL for 7 years, playing for the Kansas City Chiefs the entire time. Budde also played in the NFL for 7 years, playing for the Kansas City Chiefs the entire time.
