Ed Blount (Edward Cleo Blount) was born on February 26, 1964 in Los Angeles, California. After going to high school at Blair (Pasadena, CA), Blount attended Washington State Universtiy. Blount made his professional debut in the NFL in 1987 with the San Francisco 49ers. He played for the San Francisco 49ers for his entire 1 year career.
