Ed Berrang (Edward Patrick Berrang) was born on October 14, 1922 in New Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. After going to high school at Blythe Township (New Phi., PA) and New York M.A. (Cornwall-on-Hudson, NY), Berrang attended Villanova University. Berrang made his professional debut in the NFL in 1949 with the Washington Redskins. He played for the Washington Redskins for his entire 4 year career.
Most people believe that 1952 was Ed Berrang's best year.
