Ed Barker (Edward Ross Barker) was born on May 31, 1931 in Dillon, Montana. After going to high school at Sunnyside (WA), Barker attended Washington State Universtiy. Barker made his professional debut in the NFL in 1953 with the Pittsburgh Steelers. He played for the Washington Redskins and Pittsburgh Steelers over the course of his 2 year career.

Most people believe that 1954 was Ed Barker's best year.
