Born on October 16, 1919 in Rouleau, Saskatchewan (Canada), Ed Bahr (Edson Garfield Bahr) played for the Pittsburgh Pirates for his entire 2 year career. Bahr broke into the bigs on May 1, 1946 with the Pittsburgh Pirates, and put up a 2.63 ERA in 136.2 innings pitched in 1946, his rookie year.
