Ebba St. Claire (Edward Joseph St. Claire) was born on August 5, 1921 in Whitehall, New York. He made his Major League debut on April 17, 1951 for the Boston Braves. In 1951, his rookie year, he hit .282 with 1 home run and 25 RBI. St. Claire played for the Boston Braves, Milwaukee Braves and New York Giants over the course of his 4 year career.
Most people believe that Ebba St. Claire's best season was 1951, when he hit for a .282 average.
