Earl Potteiger

Earl Potteiger (William Irvin Potteiger) was born on January 11, 1891 in Reading, Pennsylvania. After going to high school at Perkiomen Seminary (Pennsburg, PA), Potteiger attended Ursinus College. Potteiger made his professional debut in the APFA in 1920 with the Buffalo All-Americans. He played in the APFA for 2 years, playing for the Chicago Cardinals and Buffalo All-Americans over the course of his 2 year APFA career.Potteiger also played in the NFL for 6 years, playing for the New York Giants, Kenosha Maroons and Milwaukee Badgers over the course of his 6 year NFL career.
