Earl Plank (Earl A. Plank) was born on July 28, 1905 in Columbus, Ohio. After going to high school at South (Columbus, OH), Plank attended none. Plank made his professional debut in the NFL in 1926 with the Columbus Tigers. He played for the Brooklyn Dodgers, Buffalo Bisons and Columbus Tigers over the course of his 3 year career.
