Earl Murray (Earl William Murray) was born on July 16, 1926 in Dayton, Kentucky. After going to high school at Dayton (KY), Murray attended Purdue University. Murray made his professional debut in the NFL in 1950 with the Baltimore Colts. He played for the Pittsburgh Steelers, New York Giants and Baltimore Colts over the course of his 3 year career.
Most people believe that 1950 was Earl Murray's best year.
