Earl McNeely (George Earl McNeely) was born on May 12, 1898 in Sacramento, California. He made his Major League debut on August 9, 1924 for the Washington Senators. In 1924, his rookie year, he hit .330 with 0 home runs and 15 RBI. McNeely played for the Washington Senators and St. Louis Browns over the course of his 8 year career.
Most people believe that Earl McNeely's best season was 1926, when he hit for a .303 average.
