Earl Klapstein (Earl L. Klapstein) was born on May 8, 1922 in Lodi, California. After going to high school at Lodi (CA), Klapstein attended San Joaquin Delta College and the University of Pacific. Klapstein made his professional debut in the NFL in 1946 with the Pittsburgh Steelers. He played for the Pittsburgh Steelers for his entire 1 year career.
