Earl Williams (Earl Craig Williams) was born on July 14, 1948 in Newark, New Jersey. He made his Major League debut on September 13, 1970 for the Atlanta Braves. In 1971, his rookie year, he hit .260 with 33 home runs and 87 RBI. Williams played for the Atlanta Braves, Baltimore Orioles, Montreal Expos and Oakland Athletics over the course of his 8 year career.

Most people believe that Earl Williams's best season was 1972, when he slugged 28 home runs and knocked in 87 runs.
