Earl Christy (Earl Oliver Christy) was born on March 19, 1943 in Perryman, Maryland. After going to high school at Havre de Grace (Swan Creek, MD), Christy attended the University of Maryland Eastern Shore. Christy made his professional debut in the AFL in 1966 with the New York Jets. He played for the New York Jets for his entire 3 year career.
Most people believe that 1968 was Earl Christy's best year, as he had 599 kick return yards.
