Eagles get WR Donte Stallworth

Profootballtalk.com reports that the draft pick is a fourth-rounder, and a third-rounder pick if the Eagles extend Stallworth. This trade just got a LOT better for the Saints.

I would take a young, speedy WR coming off a career year for a 3rd round pick and a backup middle linebacker anyday. If New Orleans hadn't been looking to unload Stallworth for a while, I would think they got robbed considering the 945 yards and 7 TDs their new QB is losing.

Stallworth finally started tapping into that potential last year. Great trade for Philly.

This is a good move for the Eagles. I think Reggie Brown was progressing very well but this gives them the #1 guy they needed. McNabb likes to spread the ball around and this gives him a new target. Saints fans should be happy as well as they fill a need and pick up a good draft pick for their future needs.
