ESPN's Worst.............Female Personality

12
Vote

by SSreporters

I've been taking lumps at the men of ESPN, so this episode will include the women of ESPN. Today, I ask who is the worst female personality?  It can be a sideline reporter, a sportscenter host, a ESPN News anchor, you name it.

My entry: Pam Ward. The voice is just annoying, and it stops me from watching College Football at 8:00 in the morning.

I think this is, perhaps, the one area where ESPN's influence has been positive. The new leadership has really pushed having female analysts covering male sports, which was a huge taboo for a long time.

And even reporters who were bad in other areas -- remember Erin Andrews when she was the studio host for TBS' Braves broadcasts? -- have found their nitch with ESPN. Andrews is a serviceable (if not incredibly delicious) sideline reporter now.

Agreed Linda Cohn. Like many of the long time ESPN anchors. She was good at a time, but she has fallen off.

Linda Cohn, if not simply for pioneering the nicknaming method which combines the first letter of a player's first name with the first syllable of their last name ("A-Rod", "T-Mac", etc.)

Sometimes I want to punch Hazel in the face, but most times I just wish I could have her job.

I am a diehard sports fan but must turn off espn everytime Linda Cohen is on. She is like finger nails on a chalkboard!!!! Her phrasing is always off and her humor is anything but!!!
