Born on May 29, 1946 in Batesville, Indiana, Dyar Miller (Dyar K Miller) played for the Baltimore Orioles, California Angels, Toronto Blue Jays and New York Mets over the course of his 7 year career. Miller broke into the bigs on June 9, 1975 with the Baltimore Orioles, and put up a 2.94 ERA in 88.2 innings pitched in 1976, his rookie year.

Most people believe that Dyar Miller's best season was 1977, when he posted a 3.53 ERA and struck out 58 batters.
