Dwight White (Dwight Lynn White) was born on July 30, 1949 in Hampton, Virginia. After going to high school at James Madison (Dallas, TX), White attended Texas Agricultural and Mechanical University-Commerce. White made his professional debut in the NFL in 1971 with the Pittsburgh Steelers. He played for the Pittsburgh Steelers for his entire 10 year career.

Most people believe that 1977 was Dwight White's best year.
