Dwight Peabody (Dwight Van Dorn Peabody) was born on January 26, 1894 in Oberlin, Ohio. After going to high school at Oberlin (OH), Peabody attended Ohio State University. Peabody made his professional debut in the NFL in 1922 with the Toledo Maroons. He played for the Toledo Maroons for his entire 1 year career.
