Dwight Bernard

Born on May 31, 1952 in Mount Vernon, Illinois, Dwight Bernard (Dwight Vern Bernard) played for the New York Mets and Milwaukee Brewers over the course of his 4 year career. Bernard broke into the bigs on June 29, 1978 with the New York Mets, and put up a 3.76 ERA in 79 innings pitched in 1982, his rookie year.
Most people believe that Dwight Bernard's best season was 1982, when he posted a 3.76 ERA.
