Born on February 16, 1962 in Elkton, Maryland, Dwayne Henry (Dwayne Allen Henry) played for the Texas Rangers, Atlanta Braves, Houston Astros, Cincinnati Reds, Seattle Mariners and Detroit Tigers over the course of his 11 year career. Henry broke into the bigs on September 7, 1984 with the Texas Rangers, and put up a 3.19 ERA in 67.2 innings pitched in 1991, his rookie year.

Most people believe that Dwayne Henry's best season was 1992, when he posted a 3.33 ERA and struck out 72 batters.
