Born on July 29, 1885 in Atlantic Highlands, New Jersey, Dutch Stryker (Sterling Alpa Stryker) played for the Boston Braves and Brooklyn Robins over the course of his 2 year career. Stryker broke into the bigs on April 16, 1924 with the Boston Braves, and put up a 6.01 ERA in 73.1 innings pitched in 1924, his rookie year.
