Dumbest Quote Ever

by user The Beast

Former Hurricanes player and current broadcaster Lamar Thomas was actually in favor of the ugly brawl between Miami and FIU at the Orange Bowl on Saturday night. Yes he was actually in favor of it. His statement was hilarious, but yet sad at the same time.

During the brawl, Thomas said: Now that's what I'm talking about. You come into our house, you should get your behind kicked. You don't come into the OB playing that stuff. You're across the ocean over there. You're across the city. You can't come over to our place talking noise like that. You'll get your butt beat. I was about to go down the elevator to get in that thing. I say, why don't they just meet outside in the tunnel after the ball game and get it on some more? You don't come into the OB, baby. We've had a down couple years, but you don't come in here talking smack. Not in our house.

Ya, um, Mr. Thomas was fired for his strange statement.

Here is a video of the brawl and Lamar's comments:http://youtube.com/watch?v=1JWeE9KqZjQ

Yeah, I gotta agree. That was one of the stupidest things I have ever heard an on-air announcer say. If anyone has ever deserved to be fired, it's this jackass.

He was on Dan Patrick's radio show today and called Dan BEFORE he was to call his boss and discuss his job status. Dan and Keith thanked him and then DP and Olbermann both agreed he was toast. The Big Show on radio - High comedy every afternoon!!!

I think there should be mandatory psychological evaluations given to announcers before they get accepted for such a job. Unreal.
