Born on June 1, 1898 in Martins Ferry, Ohio, Duke Sedgwick (Harry Kenneth Sedgwick) played for the Philadelphia Phillies and Washington Senators over the course of his 2 year career. Sedgwick broke into the bigs on July 12, 1921 with the Philadelphia Phillies, and put up a 4.92 ERA in 71.1 innings pitched in 1921, his rookie year.
