Dud Harris (Edmund Dudley Harris) was born on October 24, 1903 in Quitsna, North Carolina. After going to high school at East (Columbus, OH), Harris attended Marietta College and Ohio State University. Harris made his professional debut in the NFL in 1930 with the Portsmouth Spartans. He played for the Portsmouth Spartans for his entire 1 year career.
