Ducks win again, without Coach Bombay

The Foul Pole

Now, the NHL isn't our thing here at TFP, but we try to keep it fair. But in an amazing feat of courage, the "flying V" was resurrected as the Mighty Ducks took a 2-0 series lead over the Colorado Avalanche. Ilya "Goldberg" Bryzgalov held down the fort between the posts with his third straight shutout.

The Ducks pulled out the Flying V in the first period on a power play, setting up Ryan "Fulton Reed" Getzlaf to make the score 1-0. And it was all Goldberg after that.

Bombay was still recovering from that hit he took that busted his knee in the minors and was not available to be on the bench. But Ducks fly together.

Quack. Quack. Quack. Quack, quack, quack, quack, quack, quackquackquack.
