Duane Benson

Duane Benson (Duane Dean Benson) was born on August 5, 1945 in Belmond, Iowa. After going to high school at Grand Meadow (MN), Benson attended Hamline University. Benson made his professional debut in the AFL in 1967 with the Oakland Raiders. He played in the AFL for 3 years, playing for the Oakland Raiders the entire time. Benson also played in the NFL for 7 years, playing for the Houston Oilers, Oakland Raiders and Atlanta Falcons over the course of his 7 year NFL career.
Most people believe that 1974 was Duane Benson's best year.
