Drew Ellis (Benjamin Drew Ellis) was born on December 27, 1914 in Ochiltree County, Texas. After going to high school at Perryton (TX), Ellis attended Texas Christian University. Ellis made his professional debut in the NFL in 1938 with the Philadelphia Eagles. He played for the Philadelphia Eagles for his entire 2 year career.
Most people believe that 1939 was Drew Ellis's best year.
