Dream NFL announcing team

Hypothetical question here. Assuming that an announcer can work for any network, pick one ACTIVE play-by-play man, and up to two color analysts that you would love to see work together in the NFL. It can be anyone who works as an announcer for the NFL only!

My pairing: Gus Johnson and Solomon Wilcots. Solomon is a pretty good analyst, and Gus is the only guy in the world that can make a 7-3 scoreline sound exciting.

The guy that does the Phillies games. I don't like the Phils, but their main radio/TV guy is outstanding. His name escapes me right now. And the color guy? Me, of course.

Harry Kalas is the guy you're talking about. He's also the voiceover for the Inside the NFL recaps.

Gus would be good... I love that guy. Tough to say for the color man... probably just Cris Collinsworth. 3 guys in the booth is a bit much.

Cool to know you're here twins15. I know 3 guys is too much, but I'm letting the readers decide. If it were up to me, no way would I let 3 people in the booth. You know that, you've read my blog many times.

Some of us grew up watching Howard, Frank, and Don and are used to three in the booth. Even if Don sang too damn much.

Give me Al Michaels and John Madden in their prime. Not now, about 20 years ago.

Gus Johnson, Troy Aikman and Ocho Cinco. That'd be the ultimate.

You're joking! That tops the lot for awful announcers.

I'd keep Tirico. It's theismann that's the problem.

I'd keep Tirico for golf. Football, he's just annoying.

I liked him, but I just think he's too heady to stick around for most people. He managed to keep his politics out of it, unlike Rush, so that was cool.
