Doyle Nix

Doyle Nix (Doyle Edward Nix) was born on May 30, 1933 in Texarkana, Texas. After going to high school at Texas (Texarkana, TX), Nix attended Southern Methodist University. Nix made his professional debut in the NFL in 1955 with the Green Bay Packers. He played in the NFL for 3 years, playing for the Washington Redskins and Green Bay Packers over the course of his 3 year NFL career.Nix also played in the AFL for 2 years, playing for the Dallas Texans and Los Angeles Chargers over the course of his 2 year AFL career.
Most people believe that 1960 was Doyle Nix's best year, as he picked off 4 passes and ran back an interception for a touchdown.
