Doug Wycoff (Stephen Douglas Wycoff) was born on September 16, 1903 in St. Louis, Missouri. After going to high school at Little Rock (AR), Wycoff attended Georgia Institure of Technology. Wycoff made his professional debut in the AFLG in 1926 with the Newark Bears. He played in the AFLG for 1 year, playing for the Newark Bears the entire time. Wycoff also played in the NFL for 6 years, playing for the Staten Island Stapletons, New York Giants and Boston Redskins over the course of his 6 year NFL career.

Most people believe that 1932 was Doug Wycoff's best year.
