Doug Woodlief (Douglas Eugene Woodlief) was born on September 4, 1943 in Marianna, Florida. After going to high school at Marianna (FL), Woodlief attended Chipola JC and the University of Memphis. Woodlief made his professional debut in the NFL in 1965 with the Los Angeles Rams. He played for the Los Angeles Rams for his entire 5 year career.

Most people believe that 1969 was Doug Woodlief's best year, as he picked off 4 passes.
