Doug Swift (Douglas A. Swift) was born on October 24, 1948 in Syracuse, New York. After going to high school at Nottingham (Syracuse, NY), Swift attended Amherst College. Swift made his professional debut in the NFL in 1970 with the Miami Dolphins. He played for the Miami Dolphins for his entire 6 year career.
Most people believe that 1972 was Doug Swift's best year, as he picked off 3 passes.
