Born on September 26, 1957 in Renton, Washington, Doug Sisk (Douglas Randall Sisk) played for the New York Mets, Baltimore Orioles and Atlanta Braves over the course of his 9 year career. Sisk broke into the bigs on September 6, 1982 with the New York Mets, and put up a 2.24 ERA in 104.1 innings pitched in 1983, his rookie year.

Most people believe that Doug Sisk's best season was 1983, when he posted a 2.24 ERA and notched 11 saves.
