Born on October 2, 1974 in Sonoma, California, Doug Nickle (Douglas Alan Nickle) played for the Philadelphia Phillies and San Diego Padres over the course of his 3 year career. Nickle broke into the bigs on September 18, 2000 with the Philadelphia Phillies.
