Doug Long (Doug Long) was born on May 24, 1955 in Spokane, Washington. After going to high school at Shelton (WA), Long attended Whitworth College. Long made his professional debut in the NFL in 1977 with the Seattle Seahawks. He played for the Seattle Seahawks for his entire 2 year career.

Most people believe that 1978 was Doug Long's best year.
