Doug Kotar (Douglas Allan Kotar) was born on June 11, 1951 in Canonsburg, Pennsylvania. After going to high school at Canon-McMillan (Canonsburg, PA), Kotar attended the University of Kentucky. Kotar made his professional debut in the NFL in 1974 with the New York Giants. He played for the New York Giants for his entire 7 year career.
Most people believe that 1976 was Doug Kotar's best year, as he ran for 731 yards and hauled in 36 receptions.
