Born on December 10, 1963 in Sacramento, California, Doug Henry (Richard Douglas Henry) played for the Milwaukee Brewers, New York Mets, San Francisco Giants, Houston Astros and Kansas City Royals over the course of his 11 year career. Henry broke into the bigs on July 15, 1991 with the Milwaukee Brewers, and put up a 4.02 ERA in 65 innings pitched in 1992, his rookie year.

Most people believe that Doug Henry's best season was 1992, when he posted a 4.02 ERA, notched 29 saves and struck out 52 batters.
