Doug Greene (Douglas P. Greene) was born on February 10, 1956 in Los Angeles, California. After going to high school at Yates (Houston, TX), Greene attended Lakewood JC and Texas Agricultural and Mechanical University-Kingsville. Greene made his professional debut in the NFL in 1978 with the St. Louis Cardinals. He played for the Buffalo Bills and St. Louis Cardinals over the course of his 3 year career.

Most people believe that 1979 was Doug Greene's best year.
