Doug Glanville (Douglas Metunwa Glanville) was born on August 25, 1970 in Hackensack, New Jersey. He made his Major League debut on June 9, 1996 for the Chicago Cubs. In 1997, his rookie year, he hit .300 with 4 home runs and 35 RBI. Glanville played for the Chicago Cubs, Philadelphia Phillies and Texas Rangers over the course of his 9 year career.

Most people believe that Doug Glanville's best season was 1999, when he stole 34 bases, hit for a .325 average and knocked in 73 runs.
