Doug France (Frederick Douglas France, Jr.) was born on April 26, 1953 in Dayton, Ohio. After going to high school at Colonel White (Dyaton, OH), France attended Ohio State University. France made his professional debut in the NFL in 1975 with the Los Angeles Rams. He played for the Los Angeles Rams and Houston Oilers over the course of his 8 year career.
