Doug Fisher (Douglas Gene Fisher) was born on March 8, 1947 in Fresno, California. After going to high school at Carruthers (CA), Fisher attended Reedley College and San Diego State University. Fisher made his professional debut in the NFL in 1969 with the Pittsburgh Steelers. He played for the Pittsburgh Steelers for his entire 2 year career.
