Doug Elmore (James Douglas Elmore) was born on December 15, 1939 in Reform, Alabama. After going to high school at Pickens County (Reform, LA), Elmore attended the University of Mississippi. Elmore made his professional debut in the NFL in 1962 with the Washington Redskins. He played for the Washington Redskins for his entire 1 year career.
