Doug Davis (Douglas Sherone Davis) was born on July 2, 1944 in Elkton, Maryland. After going to high school at Centerburg (OH), Davis attended the University of Kentucky. Davis made his professional debut in the NFL in 1966 with the Minnesota Vikings. He played for the Minnesota Vikings for his entire 7 year career.
