Doug Crusan (Douglas Gordon Crusan, Jr.) was born on July 26, 1946 in Monessen, Pennsylvania. After going to high school at Monessen (PA), Crusan attended Indiana University. Crusan made his professional debut in the AFL in 1968 with the Miami Dolphins. He played in the AFL for 2 years, playing for the Miami Dolphins the entire time. Crusan also played in the NFL for 5 years, playing for the Miami Dolphins the entire time.

Most people believe that 1973 was Doug Crusan's best year.
