Doug Asad (Douglas Samuel Asad) was born on August 27, 1938 in Fairview Park, Ohio. After going to high school at Fairview (Fairview Park, OH), Asad attended Northwestern University. Asad made his professional debut in the AFL in 1960 with the Oakland Raiders. He played for the Oakland Raiders for his entire 2 year career.
