  • June 29, 1994: Drafted by the Minnesota Timberwolves in the 1st round (4th overall) in 1994.
  • February 18, 1995: Minnesota Timberwolves traded Donyell Marshall to the Golden State Warriors for Tom Gugliotta.
  • August 16, 2000: In a four-way trade: Utah Jazz traded Howard Eisley to the Dallas Mavericks, a conditional 1st round selection to the Boston Celtics and Adam Keefe to the Golden State Warriors; Dallas Mavericks traded Robert Pack, John Williams and cash considerations to the Boston Celtics and Bruno Sundov to the Utah Jazz; Golden State Warriors traded Bill Curley to the Dallas Mavericks and Donyell Marshall to the Utah Jazz; Boston Celtics traded Dana Barros to the Dallas Mavericks and Danny Fortson to the Golden State Warriors.
  • August 16, 2002: Signed as a free agent by the Chicago Bulls.
  • December 1, 2003: Toronto Raptors traded Antonio Davis, Jerome Williams and Chris Jefferies to the Chicago Bulls for Jalen Rose, Donyell Marshall and Lonny Baxter.
  • August 2, 2005: Signed as an unrestricted free agent by the Cleveland Cavaliers.
  • February 21, 2008: In a three-way trade: the Chicago Bulls traded Ben Wallace, Joe Smith, a 2009 second-round pick to the Cleveland Cavaliers and Adrian Griffin to the Seattle Supersonics; Seattle traded Wally Szczerbiak and Delonte West to Cleveland; Cleveland traded Drew Gooden, Larry Hughes, Shannon Brown and Cedric Simmons to Chicago and Donyell Marshall and Ira Newble to Seattle.
  • September 2, 2008: Signed as a free agent by the Philadelphia 76ers.
